Placement of a student at Kentwood Academy is contingent upon that student benefiting from our program. Students attending Kentwood Academy are recommended and referred for private school placement by the student's local school district or are privately placed by parents who have withdrawn their child from the public school system. It is required that the referring district or agency submit a complete portfolio of data and information with the application of each student they are considering for placement.
If the administration of Kentwood Academy, upon reviewing an applicant's records, believes that the applicant would benefit from the program, arrangements will be made for an interview. All students will be considered for admission and placement without regard to gender, race, or religion.
